for 1st Day in School, Grade VI-XII

Assemble in Hockey Field –Grade VI-XII
a) Placards
denoting form and grade will be on the field.

Lists of students/forms will be displayed
in front of the

Registration is taken in silence

Brief address by Principal

am – 10:00 am Students go as Forms with their
respective Form Tutor to allotted class rooms in Academic Block.
Points
to cover:
1.
Form Tutors will give out student diaries
and notebooks. Form Tutors must have students sign their initials on
class list.
2.
Rules and expectations of students with
special emphasis on appearance. Disciplinary measures also to be
discussed.
3.
Information on TISB IT Policy. [Take this
directly from Students’ Handbook]
4.
Explanation of diary – information page to
be filled out. All contact details must go to Registry immediately.
5.
Timetable – timings to be explained – class
and lunch timings.
6.
Explanation of grading, reporting to
parents (supplementary report, 1st and 2nd semester
report), monthly grades, academic probation, etc.
7.
Attendance/Punctuality requirements.
8.
Role of Form Tutor explained.
9.
If any Grade IX or Grade XI students have
not filled out final course selection, they should be sent to the appropriate
coordinators.
